I was an odd child... I never wanted to be an adult. Adults hold a lot of responsibilty on their shoulders. I never want to let childhood go. But childhood's leaving, slipping out of my fingers. Like sand.:) What an odd simile. Or is it a metaphor? Anyway, it's wonderful. Sorry, haven't read your stories in a while.
