@bubblepop2: he wasn't able to upgrade his art to hi-res (which allows it to be printable). He'll hopefully have a chance next year. (I know! A whole year!)

Very clever, Mark. I'd have to say the cat part was my favorite. But then, the frog was pretty great:) I'll just say everything was my favorite. Storybird is such a great website. Families connect, everyone gets to express themselves...just, amazing! It's also great how you have the competitions. Writers get the chance to compete in their writing skills. Amazing!!!:)

@missymiss: you can't. It was used during our early trial and the artist wasn't able to upgrade to hi-res images.
dang it. i wonder why? it does that with Morphadoodles and Chichiboulie
@missymiss: same with them. Chichiboulie plans to upgrade and come back, though. Not sure when.

@6suzy7: if you take the time to read people's stories and interact with them in a genuine way, they'll typically repsond. It's when you look for immediate feedback that you feel let down.

@missy14: if you mean photo-realistic illustrations, we tend to stay away from those when we look for artists. We're interested in artwork that is interpretive rather than literal.
As for the images in this story, they're no longer available.
