Beautiful, deepfried, just beautiful. I can't believe I didn't read this before! Gosh... this story was really amazing and wonderful, and it has many different messages. I don't think there's a need to choose just one moral. There are many, and we learn from all of them. I guess some people have higher expectations than others, and it depends on the family. Some families are poor, and all they can afford for Christmas is a chocolate bar, for example, but the children are happy with it. Chocolate is a wonderful treat, we should never take it for granted. That, is yet another moral.:) The richer families have children who get mini laptops, which is more than what I have. But they're not happy. With the things people are coming up with, newer and better things every day, the cool thing you jsut got last month is suddenly not so cool anymore. You just have to get the new one. That's how a lot of people are, and I have to agree, the new ones are better. But think about how many people don't have the old one you have, and you ought to be grateful. All in all, this was a beautiful Christmas story with many wonderful morals. I can't believed I missed it earlier, and I'm really sorry for that.
Great story! I love the comparisons of the two different lives.

Loveee.... :) I didn't want it to end! Gah! Why do you have to be so good? I can't stand it when people are all like, "I want this and this and that and this and that and..." so on, so on. It irritates me. I always get three little children's name from the Giving tree and get them presents. Right now I have a ten year old girl, a three year old boy, and a 10-month baby girl. I can't wait to go shopping for them ♥ But yeah, love the story, blah blah blah, you've heard it all from me before. :D
K. Alright. In my reading list, just so you know (:

Allalea -> Thanks!! (:
Smiles -> Haha, thanks! I'd love to do the Christmas tree thing, but I never have the money for it. No one wants to hire a 14 year old. :(
