I'm not in high school anymore, but this felt immediately real to me. I particularly liked how Amy misinterprets the whole scenario because she's so self-absorbed. All of us fall into that trap—kids, grownups, everyone—so it's a nice reminder that sometimes we just have to stand back and rethink what's happening.
