Wonderful, Fogcat! I loved this! It kept me really enhanced. Normally, I always find my gaze wandering off to someplace else besides the actual words in a story, but your story actually made me want to keep reading. (: It had a great voice, too.
I always fall for your pacing and lean prose. Great piece. And so lovely when matched with this new style from flapperdoodle/Kate.

very cute story! i noticed the poetry too. it also has a little mystery to it. and congrats for getting it in the new & noted.
its a good story but a little short though. try and make it longer .
p.s. isn't it supposed to be mabelline or mabeline?
