I'll get right on to using these Mark. I'm loving the new features!
Thanks Mark! Also I made a new story about my rehersals! It's part THREE! Oh and I'll try that sometime soon!
How on EARTH do you do that!! There are lots of things I don't know.
thanks mark, that was helpful. But I still don't get ow you do that! Do you have to have your own shop?
@asetchay @Ferinhator: try it yourself. Start a Storybird with Sebastiaan van Doninck's shop and you'll find several pieces that you can move into various positions—even though it's the same thumbnail.
Eventually, all art will be like this. It's like having four "phantom" positions for each piece, letting you position it on the page for more writing space or more art.
Full-page art is not just a big deal for visual impact. It'll also be important when you make a Storybird you plan to print: that way you can have text on one "side" and full-screen art on the other "side." (We'll be adding a two-page/side-by-side view in Storymaker so you can plan/pace your stories for print.
Storybird goes from strength to strength. Love this too!

Mark can you and the team work on this idea please?
This is it:You can use a few pictures at a time on every page.

thecreator hearted this
@thecreator: we've toyed with image building. Not crazy about it. Writers focus too much on building artwork instead of storytelling. But we haven't ruled it out, either.
Thanks mark!

Mark, how do you choose the featured author? If I were you, I would be up all night choosing! It must require a lot of help, huh?

I think that the idea of adding those drawings is super smart.
Hey Mark, can you reply to this? It's just that, you know about the interveiws thing with Jojo_Mojo and smiley, why was it put down for, I mean it was volantary - you didn't HAVE to do it. I just wondered, it's been lurking on my mind for aaagggggeeeeeesssss. ;(
cookie54lover hearted this
@cookie54lover: I explain it in great detail on their "sad news about the interviews" book page. Take a peek.
I am curious... how do you get your name and the thing that says, "A Storybird" to be different colors? I know you're busy and you might not be able to answer but if you could thanks!!
Great storybird!!!!!! Thanks again!
waphooy hearted this
@waphooy: in Storymaker, our core writing app, go to your cover page and click the color squares in the top left corner—the ones beside the title area. Those squares will change the color bar and adjust the color of the type, too.
Thank you mark! That helped!
Nele hearted this
I discovered the 0.4 version of this, and all these 'new' features seemed natural! Reminds me of a tree, you know, starting off as a seedling, then branching out into a giant tree-like storybird-full of ideas and imagination...
@nele: great metaphor and quite true. Lots of weeding to do on our part, though ;)
How do you do it?

Mark, what do you need to do to be a featured author?
@lioness22: write great stories ;)
Hey mark! I figured out you might like this book:
Author: smiley316 (otherwise known as smiles, or JUST PLAIN WEIRD)
Link; http://storybird.com/books/charlies-hectic-universe/
I just thought it was one of smiley's biggest sparks of genius - I'm sure she'd love for you to see the link. :)
