Tired yet? That's a lot of stories in 48 hours ;) Your fingers must be on fire, if not your brain.

Oh my gosh, Mark, I know! The funny thing is, after "My Mom and Me" was chosen as a featured story, I gained so much confidence in myself and my abilities as a potential writer. "People actually LIKE what I'm writing," I thought to myself. And then, suddenly, stories started pouring into me, through me, and out of me.
I guess I'm trying to say, thanks for creating storybird, because it unlocked the key to my creative energy. I don't know what I would have done without it!
I think the nature of Storybird is convenient for the creative urge. The art compels us to say something and the short format isn't too daunting. It has a limited niche in people's lives, but it can be a touchstone or, as you say, an inspiration and validation of your ideas. A few writers have told me it's helped them through blocks, downtime, and isolation. And if we can offer just a sliver of support for the creation process, it's been worth it ;)
BTW, you'll probably go through what has become a noticeable cycle for some writers: an intense burst of ideas and stories, a lull (often because you've exhausted the art that interests you), some distance (rejuvenation?), and then a regular tempo of output.
Either way, great to read your work.

Great storytelling - flowed beautifully and had a wonderful, heartfelt message.
I sometimes do something wrong so I have to look for something to cheer me up. This story is a very heartwarming story. Good job.
This is awesome. How do you come up with such great stories!
Ferinhator- thanks for your comment. When creating stories, I often think to myself, "what would I like to read?" Chances are that something that moves or interests me will also touch other people.

I think it is so improtant to question even though sometimes we never get the answer we are looking for. I love the way the little girl tries to make sense of the world in which she lives. When none of the animals can help she follows the wisdom she is finally offered of making her own happiness in this world.
