    There is one small word problem on the 1st page. Fix that, and you get a 100!

    Very effective use of illustrations to tell the story. I also thought your word choice evidenced an 8th grade vocabulary, such as use of the word "route" instead of path. Page 5 came alive for me...I could imagine the people gathering in disbelief and the murmur among the crowd as the mermaid never showed up. (One small typo on page 10.)
