@SeanaMcD Every week, 4 stories are selected as semi-finalists. People vote and the winning story is a finalist for that week. By the end of the month, there are usually 4 finalists (1 for each week), but then Storybird adds a spoiler, which is a story that was a semi-finalist, but one that didn't win its round in terms of number of votes.
I'm not sure if I'll ever get to be a finalist by just votes, so being a spoiler gave me that chance. :)
MrsRex: you write such awesome stories, you definitely deserve to be a finalist. Way to go and congrats on the feature. I really like this particular story. Such fun!

This is such a nice story.
Who knew, this all started when a little eight year old girl named Bonnie started sketching and doodling on her work, walls, journal and it all came down to have a true friend.
I loved the story, it was really creative. :)
It was also really fun to read! You got me to

I love how you made the idea of moms your own. Very creative and original. I loved it! ☺
@LizBl The theme was "mothers" so I decided to be more abstract. The idea is that the artist (Bonnie) created a drawing/sketch and named it Doodle Dee. In a sense, Bonnie is the drawing's mother because she created her, but as children do, Doodle Dee wanted to grow up and have a life of her own.
