Saw your name and had to read. Luv it, as always. The final bit about not being the one to want the spirit to leave is so common in our lives. There's this maddening state it leaves you in, very alive, that you never want to let go.

A stand out story. You put it so well when you said the thought clones itself. Its as if it taints your thoughts indescriminately - good or bad - so you may not experience any other range of emotion except that which the entity alone allows you. Well done.
