COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL is that french "fin" ? that was a great story it kinda (in a totally weird way) scared me well im a bit of a nutter so that was really (a bit) scary yet very good
also i didnt understand that much but you must be one of those writers that makes a image in the readers brain the word i didnt understand was "Narrative"though i am young

This is a beautiful story! A bit creepy to me, too, though wonderful. Your stories have a sort of secret ingredient in them, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'll read "This Gift" and tell you if I realize what the secret ingredient is.

@waphooy: Morphadoodles and a few other artists were part of our initial trial that used low-resolution artwork. They weren't able to upgrade to hi-resolution files after the trial so, for now, their work can't be used.

Just thought I'd thank you for taking the time to make such an amazing website (which now we refer to as Storybird:)!
I'm just fascinated at how many authors have joined Storybird...those young writers get to play around with writing, and find out more about themselves. Who knows? They could get so interested in writing, they would become pro authors. I am having so much fun here. :) I just love writing and when I found Storybird, I knew it was going to be wonderful! I haven't found a better story-writing website.

I really liked this one. The art--and your words--remind me of The Little Prince. (I adore Paola's art and wish there was more of it.) I loved the simplistic yet intellectual story here--something so deep and yet so starkly expressed. Beautifully done, like a haunting melody played by a single instrument.
