A Small Book Of Little Here-And-There Poems
Always running, wild and free.
Hoping that no one will ever catch me.
Holding out hope that in the end,
I can find someone for my friend.
But for now it seems just so,
That I’ll be on my own for the time being, you know
Because no one can seem to understand,
That I don’t mean harm and I just want a friend
So please just learn what I want you to know,
All I need is a friend to say “Hello!”
And love me and defend me until the end,
Come on, somebody. . . just be my friend!
