Horrid Things
Once I was all alone,
so I called you on the telephone.
You said, “Baby, please come back home.”
And so I did.
Why did I listen?
You only gave me another scar.
I should have known your mission.
The truth wasn’t far.
When will this pain end?
It hurts me so bad, and it stings.
When will you accept just being friends?
Oh, all these horrid things…
