The Touch of Love
We live the pain and sorrow I cannot reveal.
It’s like I’ve been shocked from an electric eel.
Maybe love was all a mistake.
I took it for granted and the regret I must take.
Living all alone is the debt I must pay.
All my years of friendship slowly fading away.
They were right, never get a crush.
They say crushes crush your soul like a fragile bowl.
Never get a crush, they linger in your mind.
I sit at night, no one hearing my cries.
Why did I think doing this was alright?
She’s what he wants, I no longer feel bright.
Just leave me alone, with no one to care for.
Dying in the dark, rotten to the core.
