Some Pig in the City
News. Big news. Very big news!
Hello Storybird community!
I am thrilled that so many of you enjoy Some Pig in the City. It’s a book that’s very close to my heart, and it’s my dream to share the story with as many people as possible.
As you can see, the novel has been taken down from Storybird in advance of some big news later this week. (Eek! Very big news.)
Be sure to check back after Tuesday March 22, 2016 for an exclusive update!
I hope you’re ready for even more Josie Shilling books to come...

Exciting news everyone!
HarperCollins—the publisher behind Where the Wild Things Are, The Giving Tree, and Charlotte’s Web—has bought the rights to publish Some Pig in the City, the novel I created and serialized on Storybird.
Jocelyn Davies is the editor at HarperCollins who purchased the rights and is planning two books under the title The Unlikely Story of a Pig in the City, one released in 2017 and then another the following year.
There’s more news on the Storybird blog (link in the comments below), but it will take about a year for the book to launch. In the meanwhile, check out my other Storybird novel The Wristwatch Time Machine, which links from my profile.
I’ll be checking in with everyone on the main blog with updates on the book’s progress. Until then—thank you all so much for your love and support. It means the world.
